Take Cover Behind Blitzkrieg Miniatures’ Sandbags

Blitzkrieg Miniatures are coming out with a new sandbag emplacement to help provide some cover to your 28mm WWII soldiers.
Blitzkrieg have designed their sandbags emplacement to work with Perry Miniatures' weapons teams and anti-tank guns, so they should fit well with pretty much all 28mm scale miniatures.
Sandbags like these might seem simple, but they are an incredibly effective way to establish your gaming table as a battleground. They can provide a useful piece of cover in open ground and inevitably become something the attacker can't ignore.

Nice touch, though a single thickness of sandbags counts for little really.
Somewhat true, but they’re enough to stop shell fragments, and what is portrayed is often not the optimum use of what is a timeless and indispensable piece of kit. The best use of sandbags is on the inside of a building to reinforce a fire position… or to shore up some weak places around your fighting position.
