The Corvus Cabal Steps Out Of Warcry’s Shadows
June 3, 2019 by dracs
Games Workshop revealed the latest of the chaotic killers for their upcoming skirmish game Warcry. This time we head to the Realm of Shadow to meet with the Corvus Cabal.
As you can see, these guys have a bit of a thing about corvids. To them, Chaos is embodied by an enormous black-feathered bird they call the Great Gatherer. They use their unnatural stealth and cunning to kill their prey, claiming trophies in the name of their dark deity. From the blood dripping down their chins, it seems they have a grizzly appetite to match.
These guys may be my favourite warband so far, not because of their crow-like appearance (although that is pretty cool), but because of their background. They view Chaos in a way that is entirely new to those of us used to viewing it in its usual four or five deity dynamic, and expand the background of the mortal cultists dedicated to the dark powers.
Is this the warband to claim your allegiance?

Those are very nice.
hmm…. fried chicken….
more than one pack is being bought of these, i feel a kit bashing coming on…
The leader has an “Alas, poor Yorick!” feel.
These are great miniatures, I can’t wait for the release of Warcry.
may make an necromunda tribe.
I do like these, but, they’re not for me.
I think the sculpts are great, all of them have great individuality and they’re so different to anything else I’ve seen on the market. However, they’re just not my style.
