Minis don’t look bad and I believe they are one piece pvc so not the usual crappy metal in a billion fiddly pieces to assemble.
Cardboard terrain looks like the same sort of stuff you get in infinity starters and I’m not a fan of that.
If the price was low enough I might be interested.
Minis are multiple parts…like the Legion Starter…torso,legs,arms and head. Its shown in the video.
Mini sculpts look pretty cool.
Need to know how it plays. CB makes some amazing miniatures, but infinity is way to crunchy/swingy for my taste.
And I’m considered the rules-guy in my group.
I really want to like this game. Im still on the fence, though. I do not like proprietary dice. It’s a big pain in the ass, because usually the dice quality is cheap. I like nice dice. Also once again, another wargame where I am playing the game companies heroes, not my heroes. I played warmachine for a few years, it was great. But the thing I hated was I was always playing Privateer Presses heroes and units. There was no room for personal creativity. Really hope that red 2-Player banner is only photoshopped and not on the actual box! The box without it is already not a beauty…but that will ruin it completly.
I’ll just say my friend is collecting the game, so I’ll play it! To me it is a little too generic fantasy. Still, if the gameplay is good enough I might grab a set of minis of my own.
