The Corporation Commandos Drop In for Warpath

We hope you saw the images of the Iron Ancestor in the latest episode of On the Table but it wasn't the only Warpath model to get shown off this week. Check out the Corporation Commando getting teased by Mantic Games...
While this is just a tease you might be able to spot what is potentially the Commandos in this artwork by Jonas Springborg who crafted the amazing Warpath cover art for the miniature sets...
With four major armies released for the game you have to hope that each force will be expanding steadily over the next year or so.

Heheh…check out the arse on that! 😉 Seriously though, even with not being able to see the front it’s a bloody lovely sculpt – the armour looks heavier than the regular Corporation grunt protection and doesn’t have the IG-style rivets but rather small anime-style holes so these will probably work as elite troops in more games than Warpath or 40K…in fact the sculpting standard looks pretty close to Infinity stuff to my eyes. Also @brennon – while I think the second red box you put on that cover art just has a regular trooper with his visor down, the first definitely doesn’t have mere Rangers in it…if that’s accurate then the front really will look as good as the back! 🙂
I bought a box of Corporation and am very pleased with it! Great sculpts, nice detail and I’m sure these next elite units will be a great addition.
While “Warpath” isn’t my cup of tea, I can certainly see that the quality of their sculpts is getting better! – these corporation models are some of the best generic sci-fi human soldiers I’ve seen. Hope they do well!
Getting better but with some ridiculously brilliant Corvus Belli and Games Workshop sculpts to choose from I can’t say I’m too fussed on Mantic’s attempts yet, I’m all for more choice and I hope the sculpts keep on improving as they have been doing, fair play.
I loved the Corporation models thus far, so this will be a nice treat! 🙂
The Commando is certainly much better than the regular Corporation troopers. If the front turns out to be as good the rear 😉 , I’m getting these as CAP-Trooper replacements for the Starship Troopers miniature game.
