Conquest Games’ Medieval Archers Now Available
November 16, 2015 by brennon
Conquest Games have now released their set of Medieval Archers which enables you to drop some long ranged units onto the tabletop for all manner of armies during this period of history.
Inside the box you get twenty-eight plastic archers on foot wearing an array of different outfits which would allow them to fit into multiple factions. You could probably get away with using them for the Dark Ages as well if you chose a particular painting style or choice of clothing.
Conquest also do a range of Normans so you could drop these in to expand those armies easily.
Will you be picking them up?

Good to see them releasing more stuff again
These look really nice. Plus they are releasing resin heads so you can represent other armies rather than just Normans.
I’m not inclined to pick these up without seeing the sprues or the assembled models. Also, they’re in exalted company with the Perry Brothers producing these, for less, along with Fireforge.
would never buy anything without getting a look in first but this box does fulfil a particular niche in the market in that it provides troops for the earlier medieval period (which from my point of view is great – had my eye on getting into Saga but was reluctant to try anything Frankish or Norman related without seeing these plastics first). As you say, up against stiff competition but I reckon that can only be a good thing in regards to driving up the quality.
I do like their Normans and those will be a useful addition to my warband.
Looking to get into saga. Bought the rules. Got a box of vikings – gripping beasts hirdmen – and other gripping beast plastics are on my Christmas list. Had my eye on these as dark age archers. Really want some sprue shots and some painted completed sets before I will invest in these. The Perry’s archers all seem to be too specific to the War of the Roses to be mistaken for vikings or saxons. Looking to work up slowly and on a budget. Without a full grasp of the make up of the factions I aim to have some… Read more »
I did split a GBP Dark Age Warriors, box between my Vikings and my “others”. For the Vikings I did use some of the unused heads from a GBP Viking box. I am sure you could do the same here.
