The Concord In Gates Of Antares Get A New Mandarin
August 30, 2015 by brennon
The model isn't available just yet but the Concord of Beyond The Gates Of Antares by Warlord Games are going to be getting themselves a new NuHu Mandarin model soon; a female version of the existing model.
I think this particular model is better than the male one who fulfils the same role. The degree of movement and such within the sculpt and the proportions of the character are much better.
It's nice that we're seeing some more alternatives for the game and hopefully that means we'll get to see additional characters popping up for these factions as time rolls on. I'd like to see some more militaristic commanders for the Concord and such for example.
What do you think of her?

I’m slowly coming around to the Concord; I think I may pick up a couple and play around with colour schemes…
Very nice.
nice!
Very cool.
More Concord (and especially NuHu) is always good to see. While I like the male NuHu model, like @Brennon I prefer this version. The combination of armoured suit and Kimono is a particularly interesting approach.
I also like the design of the small drone that comes with the model.
Not sure if this game is expensive or just that there are few figs in a unit maybe? Guess it isn’t officially out yet and will get plastic kits at some point. I do like the look and sound of it though.
I like this figure and I do agree that it is better than the male version. Very nicely done.
