Icarus Delve Into Concept Art & An Alliance Starter Set

Icarus Miniatures are working on some great new artwork for their Sci-Fi game world starting with this look at the concept art for the Praesidian Commando...

"Some of the most common uses of a Commando squad are counter-terrorism missions, assassinations, and hostage rescues. Some Commando units also operate independently, under direct control of a commander or Spirit Warrior.

Their purpose and missions are highly classified, and they will often find themselves operating in a military campaign without any other Praesidian forces in the area even knowing about them."

Very cool indeed. It's nice to see an expansion to the Praesidians as a faction looking at the more brutal face of this alien race. I would really like to see the miniatures for this in some dynamic poses.

Starter Set Ahoy

As well as the artwork for an additional race they also showed off what they're working on for the Alliance Starter Set.

This will be on the front of the box featuring the characters from within it. The idea was to try and create a cool 'beach landing' scene where instead of boats landing on the sands we have a drop ship sending these soldiers into battle.

Hopefully it won't be long until we get to see this become a reality.
