Companion Elves & Stinky Trolls From Lucid Eye’s Collection
December 9, 2021 by brennon
Lucid Eye are continuing their release of new miniatures for The Red Book Of The Elf King and beyond this week. We start with a pair of Companion Elves for use in that game.
Companion Captain // Lucid Eye
Sculpted once again by Steve Saleh, these miniatures are an awesome addition to their expanding The Red Book Of The Elf King range. As I've said before, this range of elves are probably my favourite out there in the wargaming world at the moment. I feel like they have the right mix of brooding menace, haughty fae judgement and Gaelic/Celtic charm.
Companion With Bayhorn // Lucid Eye
You could use these as leaders of smaller forces in The Red Book Of The Elf King or include them alongside your Companion units as ways to make the unit feel more unique. It's neat to see that the range is still growing and I hope that more people give the game a look!
A New Ziggurat Character
As well as the new elf miniatures we also have a new character for the Ziggurat collection. This changes the focus towards an Ancient, Bronze Age and Biblical style.
Brave Ulisse // Lucid Eye
This allows you to introduce a new character into your stories told during this period, or games influenced by it. The name obviously gives way where you could introduce this miniature into your games. Perhaps you fancy going on an odyssey?
I do like this collection which would be great for those playing Fantasy-based adventures set within the Ancient world or in games like Runequest!
Swamp Trolls!
Capping things off, we have another option for their Toon Realms collection. If you like the idea of playing games with the kids then this would be a fun monster to throw into the mix.
Stunk, The Swamp Troll // Lucid Eye
Stomping around the swamp, Stunk would be a fun villain for your young ones to clash against in games of D&D and beyond. Maybe if you're playing games like Frostgrave with your kids this Troll would make a solid option too?
What do you make of the newest releases from Lucid Eye?
