The Nozuki Hounds certainly will. Won’t be putting my Noh on the table until I have them.
So many good looking models that I can’t pick which one would be my favorite over others.
Really think this game has some interesting mechanics but the enormous difference in scale between the models even within the same faction keeps me from buying it.
There is no enormous difference in scale barring a few outliers. Malya and One Shot are a little smaller, and the Novitiates are notoriously bigger. Everything else is fine.
Well I saw the plastic Prefects girl with the giant sword and one of the Helles Belles riders and the Prefect girl barely reaches the shoulders of the Helles Belles rider so I think it’s not just a few models. And although it might not bother a large majority of gamers it bugs the hell out of me.
I own about two-thirds of the RK minis and the “problem” is nowhere near what you make it out to be. I’m looking at every Star Nebula Corsair mini right now and not one of them looks to be out of scale. Doing the same for Cerci and Malya is too small, Candy is a little bit big, the rest have height variations but not scale variations (for example Rin comes up to Marie Claude’s shoulder but they are to scale, Rin is just shorter).
And that bugs me. I prefer my adult human miniatures to be of the same height, my goblins of the same height, my dwarfs of the same height, etc. But that’s probably just me.
It may well be lol. Obviously it’s perfectly okay to have that preference but it is a very different thing to say that two models are in a different scale than in a different height. Space Marines and Imperial Guard are different heights, but are in the same scale. Likewise there’ll be examples of models that are the same height but in a different scale from each other. Different heights is fine, every minis line has models that are different heights. Different scales doesn’t look good though, the minis look out of place. Relic Knights does have some offenders, particularly… Read more »
Okay, sorry for my poor wording. I guess i meant height and not scale.
…look so good
Man I normally hate anime and whatnot but lately I’ve been feeling really drawn to the aesthetic. This game looks really cool but none of the factions quite draw me in.
If there’s anyone local to you playing the game then it might be worth getting a demo and seeing if any of them grab you. I had no interest in the Paladins or Black Diamond until I played against them. Alternatively, if you want an idea of playstyle for the factions to help you figure out which ones you’d like the most then just ask :). Probably the forums would be a better place than here as it’d be easier to retrieve.
