Comic Artist Paul Ryan Passes Away
March 8, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Acclaimed comic artist Paul Ryan has passed away, a cousin has reported.
He has done a lot of work on Marvel and DC comics that just about anyone who has ever seen a comic book over the past few decades would have seen.
He did work on Fantastic Four, Avengers, Iron Man, and notably, The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21 which featured the wedding of Spider-Man (Peter Parker) and Mary Jane Watson. His work for DC included Superman: The Man of Tomorrow and The Flash. He also worked for King Feature Syndicate on the comic strip The Phantom.
We has gamers love good art to help tell the story and that is what Paul did. He created the visuals so we could bring out favorite superheroes to life in our heads and hearts. We send our condolences to his family.
This has been a tough year for artists that we admire.
