Colonial Militia Now Ready For War With Wargames Factory
September 11, 2014 by brennon
Wargames Factory have released their Colonial Infantry onto their webstore so you can pick up this thirty man unit of soldiers now and get fighting the good fight for the fate of an entire nation...
The team has put together some really cool looking soldiers that have plenty of customisation options allowing you to really make a ragtag army that's been set up hastily. The kit comes with plenty of clothing options from the normal civilian attire to that of hunters and more. Weapons include melee options as well as muskets and long rifles for a bit of a disparate spread.
Will you be picking them up for some War of Independence battling?
Let us know!
Would these be good for playing muskets and tomahawks?
Yes I’ll be getting some for my British Force as well as to own some amazing looking models. If you were using them for Muskets and Tomahawks they could be for any army (Except Germans) and used as either Provincials or Militia or I guess maybe for civilians in certain scenarios. But to answer your Question yes these would work great.
Awesome thanks!
Great figures, and a price to match.
They look very nice indeed.
Under a buck a model too
Approx £15 or ten bob a piece at that price assuming all things are equal.
Those do look nice. I don’t need another period to collect. I quite want one though 🙂
About time too!! War of 1812 here we come…
Champing at the bit to get some militia done, battalion of West Indian troops and some US regulars. Bladensburg Races, Boston, New Orleans – hell, if I’m careful with what I do with these I may even do a bit of actual War of Independence related jobbies.. Be nice to recreate Great, great… grandpa John’s action at the siege of Fort George up in Maine during the revolutionary war – if I remember correctly, the Penobscot Expedition was the US navy’s worst single defeat until Pearl Harbour…
