Cool Mini Or Not (CMON) made a special announcement that as of today (December 2, 2016) they will be publicly listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's Growth Enterprise Market.

This is big news as this allows the company to gain further funding to expand its reaches into other markets, purchase further licenses and in general offer a wider range of products. This makes you think that CMON is manoeuvring its self for something bigger. Per the announcement from CMON:

Chern Ann Ng, CEO of CMON Limited, explains, “We began laying the groundwork for this to happen in 2014, and this monumental achievement would not have been possible without the herculean efforts of the CMON family and outstanding support from the tabletop gaming community at large.”

To this point, I wonder if this a trend we will start seeing in the industry, a merger of smaller companies and looking to traditional funding sources such as stock offerings versus Kickstarter. I also believe as companies look to expand their audiences into other areas and markets such as superstores they will need to seek traditional funding sources.

CMON Limited will begin trading on HKEX’s Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) under stock code “08278”.

Some business news for you there!
