CMON Bring Giants & Raiders To The Freefolk Of Westeros
February 14, 2019 by brennon
CMON is expanding upon the world of A Song Of Ice & Fire: The Miniatures Game with the Freefolk Starter Set. In addition to this, you'll also find new sets of Raiders and Giants joining the cast as Mance Rayder brings the Freefolk South.
These models are looking great. Gameplay wise you'll have to go and check out more from the CMON team HERE. I love the style of these figures and whilst as a force I'm sure they're going to be awesome, I think they might just end up being options for me in Rangers Of Shadow Deep.
These Freefolk would make for excellent Savages/Barbarians and then you could throw in some of the Night's Watch characters to use as Rangers and additional companions.
It will be nice to see if the rag-tag feel of the Freefolk works well against the more orderly forces of the Starks and Lannisters.
Will you be picking up the Freefolk?

Those look really good.
Very nice.
I like the big portly seated gent (is that a block of cheese he’s holding?) and the lady with the skull.
Good action poses on the warriors too.
The Land of Giants.brilliant looking models.
Very cool. Just ordered the Night’s watch myself.
These look great to. But I always play horde armies so now I’m doing the elite Night s watch army this time.
These look like great general purpose fantasy snow/winter barbarian minis. They should be nice and easy to paint as well.
I have been on the fence about buying some of the SoI&F minis…some are very tempting for sure. But these are so cool. I might have to finally pick some up.
These giants are awesome.
Would love to see these next to the Frostgrave Barbarians to see how they scale.
