Spartan Games have been good enough to send out a closer look at the contents of the Dystopian Legions Starter Sets. Along with a much bigger image of the miniatures within there is also a listing for each, showing you exactly what you're getting...
1 x Character Figure, 1 x Officer, 1 x Rocket Launcher, 7 x Ashigaru Infantry, 3 x Shinobi
1 x Character Figure, 1 x Officer, 1 x Sergeant, 1 x Light Machine Gun, 6 x Federal Infantry, 2 x Buffalo Hunter, 2 x Scouts
1 x Character Figure, 1 x Officer, 1 x Sergeant, 1 x Flamethrower Specialist, 6 x Line Infantry, 4 x Sky Hussars (plus resin flight plumes)
1 x Character Figure, 1 x Officer, 1 x Sergeant, 1 x Verling, 6 x Grenadiers, 2 x Teutonic Knights
As well as the miniatures, each set contains...
"A deck of 26 Game Cards, 24 Dice, Measuring Ruler, Plastic Bases, Token Sheet, Section Activation Cards and a printed version of the Quickplay Rules."
It's all looking like a fantastic set of Starter Kits for the Dystopian Legions launch. Just like the original sets for Dystopian Wars and their other games, Spartan Games really want to push the boat out for new players.
Will you be heading over to Spartan Games to pre-order these sets?

The only one im not keen on is the British set. I like the USA Fed and Blazing Sun sets very much. I might get one of them.
Smoke for jump pack troops have to be very well done to look right, otherwise dont bother .. The other sets look very cool though
I quite like the smoke coming out of those packs. It seems to fit with a cartoonish style that the miniatures have.
BoW Ben
There are some very nice models there. I especially like the FSA dual minigun guy looking much like uncle Sam.
I’m big on power armour, so I kind of like the look of the Prussian guys in the suits. Might go well with DreamForge’s Eisenkern heavy troops.
I’d have thought the British would have been better suited to large bulky walking armour as they were happy enough to introduce tanks to warfare but as it is I think they’ve the least interesting looking sculpts, pity really as the rest look really cool.
Pretty sure the Brits will be getting some sort of knights in armor unit, Knights Templar, etc.
fsa sets my fav but like all of them wonder if the coa will be/have penguins?
To everyone who wonders what a “Verling” is (Prussian Starter) :
It is the misspelled word “Vierling” which refers to the guy roughly in the center of the pic. His gun has four barrels. It is the German name for a combination gun, which is a break action hunting firearm. The name Vierling means literally “quadruplet”.
