Clockwork Goblin Fire Up Their 15mm Weird World War Walkers

Clockwork Goblin have released the Kodiak Assault Mech and the US Ursus Support Walker for their 15mm wargaming in the Weird World War. Check them out below...
The walkers above would be perfect for adding into the world of Flames of War for some alternative history fun. It would be pretty cool seeing how they shape up size wise against one of the tanks actually!
I like the style too which mixes in the look of tanks from the period with a bit of progressive technology. They even have a bit of the Sucker Punch about them.
I think you should start firing these up.
I must admit that from those two look wise I prefer Kodiak over Ursus for not having cannon nose even if Ursus does have awesome looking missile arms.
Aye pretty much the same way I feel about it. Those awesome missile arms do make me want to save it though. Perhaps making the front flat like the Kodiak and putting the long gun up on the shoulder, remove the M2 Browning, have the long gun with a gun shield just infront of where the M2 is and a breech going back so a crewman can stick himself out of the hatch to load and fire the thing. Or have the gun in the center of the shoulders so you could have a loader and a gunner sticking out… Read more »
If anything makes me go 15mm then it’s going to be the stuff from Clockwork Goblin. I had the pleasure of seeing some of their products in the metal at Minicon this year and it looked awesome (plus I’m a sucker for weird WW2 anyway). But what would I use it for? Hmm.. a super hero game using Supersystem in 15mm, the (slightly off scale) DZC city terrain and Clockwork Goblin walkers for the bad guys..
I think these would work exceptionally well with the Secrets of the Third Reich (for which a new edition is said to be finally on its way).
these are going to be great for Gruntz!
the Kodiak looks like they’ve ripped the arms of the matrix walkers and put them on a believable battleframe very nice, while the ursus has got a more soviet feel like the kv-5 still think both are good and a future buy
It’s a shame that it’s only in 15mm as they do look nice.
