Claymore Castings Preview New Italian Wars Miniatures

Claymore Castings has been showing off some previews of what's going to be available for those diving into a bit of Medieval wargaming. The Italian Wars are the focus of their efforts as 2022 rolls around with some spearmen popping up on Facebook.

This is just a small, early, look at what they have planned for the range but it shows off their customary detailed miniatures very nicely. I love the detail in the chainmail and the leather as well as the expressions on their faces. They are in some good poses as well and would look neat when ranked up next to each other in a thicket of spears.

In many ways, they look even better from the back! I love all the extra work on the belts and straps.

Now you just have to plot and plan how these are going to make their way into your collection of Medieval models. As we discusses this weekend, The Barons' War could easily spill out into mainland Europe so you could use these as part of a warband going to war for their lord. You could also use them as mercenaries, hired by your English barons to fight for their cause?
