The Orrus Spyre Hunters that you get in Hive Secundus (see link above) are the heavier of the Spyre Hunters. These Light Spyrers, the Malcadon, Yeld and Jakara are there to offer up different ways to murder your enemies, much like they did back in the day.
The Malcadon is a mobile brawler with paired claws and web incisors and the Yeld is a flyer armed with a laser gauntlet or missile gauntlet. The Jakara fights with a mirror shield and either a monomolecular blade or naga blade. They are astoundingly cool miniatures which are great to see returning to the fold for Necromunda fans.
The kit has been designed to come with four bodies and is incredibly modular with lots of posing options. You can use these to create the different Spyre Hunters and your Spyre Hunt Master who hones in on one particular method of fighting.
Have these helped to persuade you to pick up Necromunda?

And is it just my flaky memory, but I don’t remember the Spyrers being ALL girls previously (not that that’s an issue in any way). But they just look more like a military unit rather than the Nuevo Rich outfitted with the latest tech (and bling) going out for fun and frolics hunting down the proletariat for bragging rights (although that might just be all down to the paintjob…..I thought they were a new type… Read more »
