Continue Your Clash Of Steel Battles With The War Of Unification
September 18, 2024 by brennon
Gale Force Nine will expand your options for Clash Of Steel with two new Starter Sets and a continuation of the story told in this alternative timeline where the World War rumbled on after 1945 and restarted in 1948. The War Of Unification focuses on the four main factions once again but follows on from the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.
American Vs German // Clash of Steel: War of Unification
The Americans and the Germans are battling it out in the first set with another twenty tanks for you to start tinkering with. You will also get quick-start rules, a complete rulebook, tokens, unit cards, mission cards and mission rule cards. This will give you everything that you to get started with Clash Of Steel but in a new set with a tweak to the tanks involved.

So that's new tanks and a continuation of the storyline with a different theatre of war, playing around with the meta and taking things in new directions. If you like a lot of armoured conflict on the tabletop then you'll want to consider diving into a game like Clash of Steel as it fulfils that brief!
In addition to the new American Vs German set, you can also get a set featuring the Soviet and British forces of the period.
Soviet VS British // Clash of Steel: War of Unification
This set comes with nineteen tanks rather than twenty alongside all of the same bits and bobs that you need to play your games. The best idea would be to find a friend who likes one of these forces and then split the box with them so you can dive into playing games together. I suppose the real conundrum comes when someone likes the other faction from a different box!

It's neat that Clash Of Steel is continuing to expand and take the story in new directions during this return to World War during the late 20th Century. As well as these two new Starter Sets, there will also be a lot of Clash Of Steel expansions where you can get single tanks to help reinforce your armoured fighting force.
Will you be checking out the new options for Clash Of Steel?
