Prepare For Clash Of Katanas On Kickstarter Next Year!
December 9, 2021 by brennon
Fighting Hedgehog are going to be working alongside Zenit Miniatures to launch Clash Of Katanas next year via Kickstarter! As you can imagine, Gerry and Lloyd are very excited about this.
Clash Of Katanas // Fighting Hedgehog
The focus is on another large skirmish ruleset that allows you to play out battles during the era of the Samurai. This, of course, builds on the success they have had with Clash Of Spears where you get to play out Ancient battles on the tabletop.
The new book will feature rules, army lists, new traits, weapons and scenarios that fit into the Sengoku period of Japan's history. This will also come out alongside a brand new set of original miniatures from Zenit who have been working on Samurai for a while now.

Games and testing is underway already (and has been for a while!) so no doubt we're going to get a nicely polished set of rules by the end of this. Samurai seem to be seeing somewhat of a resurgence at the moment which is good for those wanting to step away from the many European conflicts of the period.

The Kickstarter, as mentioned above, is hoping to launch around the start of 2022 in Q1 and should have a speedy turnaround when it comes to delivery. I am very intrigued to see what the rules are like and what the range of miniatures from Zenit are like.
I'm sure we'll talk more about Clash Of Katanas again soon!

Didn’t you already post this or has everything just blurred into one now
Tis the season
I think it’s because this was posted in House Water on the OTT Discord …
One of the reasons why House Water is the best.
We know things before they happen 😉
All hail the Squirrel lord
nope
great looking game figures.
Glorious square bases! Looking forward to this, good rules and good miniatures so hopefully this is a successfully collaboration!
I hope if Zenit are making models they do some new ones and dont just recycle the old ones. As I own a number of them and the quality is okay they are a pain in the backside to build.
