A Clanking Dreadnought Stomps Out Of Troll Forged
December 15, 2014 by brennon
Troll Forged Miniatures have shown off work on a rather awesome looking dreadnought-style walker that was sculpted up by David Seymour. Not a bad looking creation!
This is a rather awesome looking creation and while it does fit in perfectly with the Sci-Fi genre I reckon with a bit of work on the painting you could make this look like a steampunk creation as well. All it would take is a bit of rust and smog damage and I think it would fit in well.
I can't wait to see where this goes and if there is any work left still to do. A painted version would also be very cool!
What do you think?
That is really big and beefy. But it’s really detailed as well.
Oh that’s awesome ! David, you really made an awesome work with the 3D, i’m so proud ! 🙂
Second image, does my butt look big in this!!!
*Looks at huge, threatening twin Maxim-style rotary cannons* No, of course not.
I make it my policy never to argue with a woman who possesses massive firepower. It is a life philosophy that has served me well… ;-P
This is awesome – nice found Brennon. I dont do 40k but just to stand it next to my OOP Vulnerable dreadnought painted is same colours on display would be a pleasure for eye.
nice may make a good imp or ork walker as well.
Thanks, guys =) It’s actually designed to be magnetized and there’s currently 11 other weapons arms I have to work on from the KS. Looks like we’re going to be offering this in 100% size (93mm) and 70% (a bit taller than a GW dread) Although it’s designed as a 2 man stompy-tank walker we can see people swapping it in as a proxy, so the smaller scale should work for that as well.
