Bolster Your Civil War Union Infantry With Perry Miniatures
September 7, 2018 by brennon
Perry Miniatures build upon their American Civil War models this week based around this new plastic kit featuring Union Infantry Skirmishers In Sack Coats.
This new set comes with, as per usual, a lot of different models. You get thirty-eight different soldiers to play around with and set up for rank and file games or maybe something a bit more skirmish-based.
The range of options looks great and shows off a myriad of different ways to put together this set. I think that even this ragged firing line above here would be stunning when put together as a full unit in a game.
I do prefer the idea of using the American Civil War to play around with skirmish games.
I'm sure there are plenty of different options for a skirmishing scenario for us to dive into and if you have any ideas make sure to throw them into the comments below.
As always, I'm impressed by the fantastic detail that Perry Miniatures have managed to work into their sculpts. It's great to see them continuing to kick ass when it comes to Historical miniatures.
What do you think?

Those look really good.
Great minis without doubt but if I’m not mistaken out for quite a long time..?
The small skirmish frame was in the other Union Infantry set already but also got a separate box right from the start.
Anyhow, great figures and also usable as Confederates ?
I have built these they are nice models better sculpts than the basic boxes, but as said previously it not new.
Nice looking figure’s
These have been out for several months…
Presumably you meant to cover the release of new cavalry models?
Perry has got Civil War stuff listed in their new for September section, including these guys. So they’ve got new Civil War stuff generally speaking.
Perry Miniatures are brilliant! I love these (now not so) new sculpts. I have more than a hundred Perry Miniatures in my collection and they are really fun to assemble, provide lots of options and the casting is really good. Such value for money.
