Chris Metzen and Mike Gilmartin have announced their plans to take their club, Warchief Gaming, to the next level. As well as a gaming space they are also talking about returning to the game design sphere and making tabletop games for us to enjoy. Watch below...
Warchief Gaming Announcement
This is pretty awesome news and we can't wait to see what they do. I am a massive fan of a lot of Metzen and Gilmartin's work in the past when they were part of Blizzard and this can only lead to something fun right?! With their pedigree working in such deep and vibrant worlds, it should seem like no surprise that they are itching to try and get creative once again.
It will be fascinating to see what they do and whether it takes on the form of board games or something more miniature wargaming focused. What do you think of the news?

Ooh a new company on the card’s any word on the games they are producing sci-fi,historical,fantasy.?
I’m getting old as once again I have to ask
Who are they?
Chris worked for Blizzard but I have no clue on who Mike is. If I am not wrong.
Well that tells us: https://warchiefgaming.com/about/
Good to see they are up an running the site wasn’t work earlier.
Chris is responsible for a huge chunk of Warcraft, he was a Blizzard rock star for years, not quite ghostcrawler levels but they did name the reindeer after him in the annual Christmas event,
Mike has worked for Blizzard for an age, mostly in back end stuff, along with other games companies
Blizzard are the ones that did the RTS Warcraft computer game aren’t they?
Yes those folks
You mean the company that made their name off of a defunct/broken GW licence?
(I actually like most of Blizzards output, but it makes me chuckle when folks start decrying GW for ripping of Warcraft & Starcraft – I have to resist the old “Oh my sweet summer child” speech…)
:O I still have my booklet from Starcraft (1998), which contains the beautiful artwork by Chris Metzen. He was a big inspiration for my drawings back then. I drew so many exo-suited scifi soldiers back then. Sigh….
