Check Out Lightseekers At Events And More!
January 20, 2018 by brennon
You may remember that in a Weekender we talked about Lightseekers. Well, this is the Trading Card Game with a digital aspect to it too, which features your heroes battling it out on the tabletop.
The Starter Decks that are available allow you to get stuck in with a variety of the different styles of play. The game itself plays very quickly too with a match lasting around fifteen to twenty minutes each time.
You can also then snap up Booster Packs as well to supplement your decks.
The additional bonus is that when you get your cards from the booster packs and such you can then use them directly in the digital game. Your collection is always in one piece rather than being spread out between two different mediums.
If you'd like to know more about playing the game, you can watch the video above. Make sure to stay tuned as well as we will have more for you to learn about the game in the near future too.
Their Facebook Page also gives you many options for events that you can learn about Lightseekers as well!

I think it’s artefacts that are missing, which are key to customising your deck so your hero can use cards outside their normal available pool. I guess that is the nature of TCG’s! I… Read more »
Looks good but never played any of this type of game.
Did you ever play any MTG?
no.
No disrespect to Lightseekers (which has plenty going for it), but MTG is the still the gold standard in this kind of game for me. Worth watching Sean Plot’s Spellslingers TV show on Geek and Sundry to get a feel for it, it’s a fun introduction to what can be a daunting game. Also, the things that are “wrong” with MTG, but can’t really be changed because of how big and established it is at this point, are what a lot of new card games are trying to solve. It does make it easier to understand (or value) design decisions… Read more »
