We're still waiting to see what the animation is going to be like for this new ITV show here in the UK but Weta Workshop showed off one of the production images for the show which finally features the boys from Tracy Island and shows us what they're looking like...

New Thunderbirds

So what do you think? Above you have, from left to right, Scott, Virgil, Alan, Gordon, John with entirely new outfits that do away with the sashes that they used to wear in favour of what look like utility belts of some kind. They've also undergone quite the change of look although they've more or less retained the same overall feeling as their older puppet counterparts in the face.

"The action packed reboot has been produced using a unique mix of CGI animation and live-action model sets to deliver a new level of action-adventure animation whilst also paying tribute to the classic 1960’s phenomenon."

It's going to be really interesting seeing what the actual show is like and how the animations look when they're moving. It's easy to criticise some of the stills but until you see how they move and such on screen it's hard to judge.

Also, will the new Thunderbirds Co-Operative Board Game draw on this iteration or the classic one?

Let's hope we see a full on trailer soon.
