Check Out A New Spellslingers From Geek & Sundry
August 29, 2015 by brennon
While a new episode of Geek & Sundry's Spellslingers isn't a big thing the purpose of this piece is more to ask you folks if you follow this and would you like to see more Magic The Gathering coverage from us?
It came to my mind from this recent episode because the opponent was a relative newcomer to the game and it reminded me of my first experiences with the game and getting totally owned!
Have you had situations like in the episode above where things just aren't going your way?
Do you play a lot of Magic?

That’s a good show! I probably played MtG once or twice, got completely wiped out, and got the impression that you can’t win without playing against people who haven’t played it as much. Granted, a lot of games are like that, but then again, a lot of games give you small victories along the path to defeat – this one kind of didn’t! But it looks like a great game, and I’m clearly missing out!
…although my comment probably says more about certain kinds of player who like to just beat newbies… I just had the wrong opponents I suppose, and they put me off the game.
It was rather fun one but my favorite so far is one with Day siblings.
I ADORE Spellslingers. Not only is it super entertaining, you really learn a few things. @mecha82, I loved that episode too! And sadly, I have to sing Shaman of the Pack, every time I play one!
I tend to sing that as well and it has pretty much started to annoy others. I just can’t help it.
I’d love to see more Magic content, plus more on other CCGs and LCGs. My favourite games are Magic, Android Netrunner, Doomtown Reloaded and The Spoils.
