Check Out How Laser Terrain Co’s Kit Looks On The Tabletop
December 9, 2015 by brennon
Laser Terrain Co have put together a video showing off what their terrain looks like under bright lights on a regular gaming table. This shows that you don't just have to play your games in the dark to get the most out of this modular plastic terrain with some additional technological wizardry...
Their Kickstarter Campaign is closing in on it's last few hours of fundraising so if you're impressed by the way the terrain looks then you still have a chance to get involved in the project. I would love to see this used for a myriad of different Sci-Fi games but especially something like Imperial Assault.
Have you backed this campaign?

No, but i’ll buy some! It looks stunning.
I duse look good.
If I had the 6K needed spare in the next 20 min I’d back it, but as it is I just hope they can actually get this done without kickstarter so I can buy it later
I think maybe the £60 price tag for a single laser cut room without lights may have put a few people off. Cheapest kit with lights is £175 (unless you got early bird) and its just 1 room and 3 corridor parts. Lovely looking kits but very expensive.
This project has 2 faults:
1) it’s REALLY expensive
2) it’s not FUNCTIONAL
i’ll elaborate on the 2nd…
those pieces are STUNNING and would work perfectly for a display diorama, but in a lit room during a normal play session, i can’t almost see the lighted leds…. wich is practically…. a waste….
i like the concept of the layouts though maybe an all mdf would be nice or even just walls + mat and leave the led part as an high cost option or maybe sell small kits for display! (imagine a space hulk setting)
