Statuesque Miniatures is looking to expand upon the stories of Left At The Bottom Of The Garden with Chapter II arriving on Kickstarter next week. This new set will feature a range of additional character miniatures to help tell the next moment of this storyline...

The new set will feature the old woman that Olive, Clementine and Little Puss met deep in the woods. You'll also find a lot of her companions like cats and that adorable little robin. I think this could be aa superb set to pick up if you want to paint something entirely different from the norm.
“Although their time at the bottom of the garden hadn't been particularly unpleasant – the weather had been kind and the rats had sung their happiest songs to keep spirits high – Olive knew they would soon have to leave. Since the hoodie crows had appeared there was a change in the air, their cawing giving voice to a restlessness the toys had not known before. The dark woods beckoned.”
The original collection for Left At The Bottom Of The Garden is available on the Statuesque Miniatures webstore right now. This means you can get Olive, Clementine, Little Puss and a selection of the creatures that they met during the first part of their adventures.

If you want to tell tales using these characters then there are a plethora of good roleplaying games and miniature rulesets out there which would be good. You could try something in 7TV or perhaps dive into one of the many whimsical Fantasy roleplaying games out there if you prefer the idea of doing something as a group. I like the idea of telling this tale by yourself as a solo experience and seeing what stories you can make with the miniatures.
Obviously, you don't need to actually play anything if you don't like. You could just collect and paint these miniatures to display and that would be a mighty fine option. I think Little Puss is absolutely adorable and the little Singing Rats are just perfect!

I’m going to pick these all up to paint sometime, they are pretty awesome.
Lol they look fabulous.
Quirky, reminds me of the movie Coraline
Those look great.
If you could pair these up with some gigantic, horrifying, slapped-together robots, you’d have a perfect way to recreate “9”.
Looks good. Soon I will write my paper about this collection.
