New Characters Added To Lumberjack’s Lands Of Arran Kickstarter

Lumberjacks Studio are closing in on the final few hours of their Kickstarter for The Lands Of Arran, and two new characters have been added to the mix for this 54mm scale project.
First up we have the contemplative Lanawyn here shown in some beautiful artwork. The miniature is also rather good...
Now all you need is to break out your paints and give this one a go. I really like what they've done with the sculpt when it comes to her fur cloak but I think they have lost a little of her angular and elegant look, especially around the face. The model is still a work-in-progress however so there's some room for movement with the piece overall.
Raging Elf
Whilst above we saw the more relaxed Lanawyn, they've also been working on this fellow. Meet Lah-Saa and his raging bear friend.
Whilst the artwork has him and his mount looking quite relaxed (relatively) the sculpt has a lot more dynamism to it with the bear rearing up to strike whilst Lah-Saa howls out a battle cry.

All four of the figures look fantastic.
I like the new scheme of fierce-looking elves. A new and appealing approach to this race.
i love the art for the she elf, but she’s way too heavy in the face on the sculpt for me.
he translates a lot better and is an interesting concept, i like him.
