New Chapter Pack Coming Next Week For The Game Of Thrones LCG

A new Chapter Pack is coming to A Game Of Thrones: The Living Card Game 2nd Edition from Fantasy Flight Games next week, For Family Honour. The major star of this pack is a new copy of Renly Baratheon...
This new pack comes with some new options for all of the different houses but the main focus is on Renly and one of the items at his disposal now he is being supported by House Tyrell.
He is a very expensive card to get down onto the table but with Insight (card draw) and Renown (power tokens) as keywords he's going to be giving you plenty to do once he's in play. The focus is on drawing his Loyal Allies around him as part of the deck and then gaining access to more, allowing you opportunities to flood the board.
This could be very good considering Valar Morghulis (kills each character) as a Plot is just around the corner. Just make sure you have a duplicate Renly on the table to stop him going anywhere!
The Crown Of Golden Flowers aids in Renly's approach to the game where you use some of your own cards to boost the strength of your allies.
While it might be good on Renly he already has a high strength. Instead, it might be useful on the likes of The Knight of Flowers as he dominates in one-on-one challenges. Randyll Tarly likes it too since increasing his strength stands him. Being non-loyal this could find its way into any deck where you've bannered Tyrell too.
A whole host of other cards are part of the pack including Hot Pie as you can see below.
This all acts as a stop gap however before the next deluxe expansion featuring the Lannisters as the main House dominating the box.
How would you use Renly?

Very nice.
You been playing some Tyrell recently, Ben? lol. I’ve been giving a run out to a purely defensive Martell/Watch deck with all the icon removal attachments, Craven, the Wall (which is surprisingly not loyal), and the Boneway. It’s a bit too slow and struggles if the opponent is running No Attachment characters. I’m looking forward to the Lannister box and CP4 so I can run an aggresive Greyjoy Valar deck.
