A Chaos Master Dominates The Battlefield From Wargame Exclusive
October 17, 2017 by brennon
Wargame Exclusive have added another big model to their collection for use in your Sci-Fi games. Take a look at the Chaos Master Of The Crusade.
This fellow stands head and shoulders above most other warriors, a proper 'God' on the battlefield. He carries into battle a rather epic sword which is warped and teeming with magical energy.
He also has the power claw which is curled in a beckoning motion, bringing you towards his sword...time to give up your souls.
The model is fantastic and certainly, works as an appropriate Chaos Lord for the tabletop. I'd love to see what this would look like with a full paint job.
What do you think of this fellow?

Hot digity dog! That’s the chaos lord for me 🙂
The miniature es rather impressive, and has nice detail, but too much “gothic” for my taste. I prefer a cleaner Chaos.
That does look really good.
a great looking marine.
‘master of the crusade’? Interesting take on Abaddon 🙂
As with many such figures these days, it is a magnificent piece of work.
However, giving a paint-job that would do it justice is well beyond the skill of most of us.
It is also a victim of details for detail’s sake. I prefer figures that are posed well, but with cleaner lines.
As Terminator style armour it’s a bit too small and sporty, rather than hulking fridge like…
As crap as the current GW miniature for Abaddon may be, it still doesn’t really excuse companies making sculpts for IPs they don’t own. Standard case of talented IP thieves. Put your talents to better use guys. You can make money without copying others.
If it were genuinely IP theft you can bet your arse GW would be on it. It’s not IP theft to make a model that is called the Master of the Crusade, or to put said model in a massive suit of power armour and give it a claw and a sword. Call it Abaddon however and the line is crossed. It’s not particularly original but it’s also not IP theft.
Potato, tomato. Its obviously meant to be Abaddon and the company should turn their talents to something more original.
