The gathering darkness starts to stretch at the very soul of your consciousness, and you feel your heart falter as the walls close in. A tentacled face looms forth from the abyss, made of horror and macabre. Beneath the slime and wet sludge you hear a terrifying voice beckoning you - "Got any change?"

Metallic Legends and Sandy Petersen have teamed up to create an extraordinary set of limited edition Cthulhu Coins which will have you beseeching the great god Azathoth for fan-based riches.

This short two week Kickstarter has ten coins to choose from, each made from a solid zinc alloy and measuring approximately 2 inches in diameter.

The year is printed in Roman numerals on each one, and they also come with their own display stand (although they could also be easily used as first player tokens or game markers).

I love the artwork on these coins, I think the detailing is fantastic, and they're actually really affordable as well. However, to give a fair warning to hesitant fans; after this minting, the molds are being destroyed, so these coins really will be a one time limited edition!

So if you hear a Lovecraftian voice inside your head commanding you to line your pockets with otherworldy currency, I suggest you head over to the Kickstarter now and back this project while you can!

What do you think of the artwork on these coins?

"beseech the great god Azathoth for riches!"
