Last Chance to Grab Heresy’s Dragon
January 1, 2015 by dracs
Heresy Miniatures have announced that this January will be the last chance for us to order their mighty dragon as it will be going down from their webstore come the evening of January 4th.
Heresy's dragon is pretty much the epitome of these fantasy classics, with each of the scales clearly picked out in the sculpt, making this the perfect monster to serve as a table's centre piece.
This model has had some serious delays, which is one of the reasons why Heresy are calling an end to its pre-order period. Unfortunately, they say it is unlikely to appear again, and if it does it will be increased in price, so this is your last chance to get hold of this massive fantasy icon.
Do you think you'll put in an order to Heresy for this dragon?
This is exactly how I pictured Smaug before the big wyvern showed up.
That thing looks really good. Impressive sculpt.
the dragon looks brilliant.
As much as I would REALLY like to own one of those, there is no way I can afford it at the moment. That, and I have a lot of other hobby stuff that needs doing as well 😛
Otherwise; WANT!
The dragon is fantastic, although I can’t afford one of them right now!
Does anyone know anything about those yeti-like creatures in the bottom picture? I can’t find them on the shop page, and they look great! I don’t know what they’re called or what range they’re for (or even what they’re supposed officially to be), but I can think of several things I’d love to use them for.
I’ve been watching this develop for what seems like forever. It really is a stunning piece of work and worth every penny, just a shame I ain’t got that many pennies atm! Hats off to Heresy for this gorgeous creature.
Those Yeti’s are rather nice aren’t they! Would like these for KoW or OK Kingdoms.
I’m not GW bashing but I’d rather own this than the Smaug sculpt….
The Yetis are Snow Trolls – also by Heresy. They were on sale for ages as metal figures but if a I remember rightly it and most of Andys big monsters were taken off sale when their last moulds wore out due to them costing a bomb to make due to rising metal costs.
Part of the kickstarter he ran was to go towards bringing them back in resin but I can’t remember if that was just for the kickstarter or not.
Thanks. Sadly that makes sense – I couldn’t find them anywhere on the website. I much prefer metal to resin, but hope they make a comeback on some form.
