Castellan Is Now Available For Relic Knights From Ninja Division
February 25, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Ninja Division has updated us on the release on one of their newest additions to Relic Knights, the Castellan.
This monstrous resin miniature is part of the Shattered Sword cadre and it sheer size rivals any of the existing Relic Knights. Ninja Division describes the Castellan this way:
The Peers developed the Castellan as a vacuum-capable, armored exoskeleton for use as a space-based assault mecha, specifically for boarding actions. The soldiers chosen to drive these machines are bold–often to the point of recklessness–and thoroughly schooled in the use of shock tactics, fully utilizing the awe their mecha inspires.
As a vanguard element, the Castellan is a common and fearsome sight, breaking the hulls of ships and storming through defenders like a raging giant...
Relic Knights is one of my favorite games that I love collecting and I am really look forward to getting my hands on this and getting my cadre up to snuff. I am hoping while at Adepticon this year Redben can take me through a demo game so I can learn how to play a proper game.
Have you played Relic Knights?

One of those will be leaving AdeptiCon with me :). Here’s a close-up on the painted version – http://sodapopminiatures.com/relic-knights/shattered-sword/castellan. Sadly, mine is unlikely to look like that when I’m done lol. Nothing has been finalised yet, but there’s a good chance I’ll be running demos at AdeptiCon on the Thursday afternoon.
Well I just bought that model and some starter set….becuase the castellan is that cool. RIGHT IN THE CHILDHOOD!^^
Did you get the Shattered Sword starter set?
Yeap and the black diamond starter, so I can do demos.
Those are two great starters- strong units. And you’ve got the heavy hitters of the Black Diamond to go up against the shield wall of Shattered Sword.
Good choices
nice.
I hope that this will see a resurgence in the RK game.
Indeed.
I can see it happening, if the Void Break rules are strong. The game has a lot to offer that other miniatures games don’t do.
