Play Card Games? Try Out The New Deep-Cut Studio Mat Designs!
August 24, 2022 by brennon
Deep-Cut Studio has put together a new collection of gaming mats that have been designed for use with your card games. Whether you're playing some Netrunner and Project Nisei or exploring a Pulp Horror adventure in Arkham, these should fit the bill.

There are fourteen designs to choose from so far and each of them comes with art that should match the theme of a myriad of different card games out there. They are all made in their mousepad material and come with a rubber foam backing. The paint is also soaked into the material so it should never come off through lots of playtime on the tabletop.
I have picked out some of my favourites. The first of them is this Cyberpunk mat which just looks stunning.

The artwork for this comes from Jan Jasinski and really captures that Cyberpunk/Netrunner feel. It also feels generic enough to be used for all manner of different factions within the game.
The next gaming mat is the Cthulhu design which seemed perfect for games like Arkham Horror.

It should be noted that Jan Jasinski has done all the artwork on the gaming mats that I have been showing off so hats off to them for the range that they have when it comes to design!
The last mat that I chose was the Dragon entry. I love dragons and so this seemed an apt pick. It would be solid for anything Fantasy based so Magic: The Gathering for example.

As mentioned, there are loads of different designs for you to choose from so make sure to dive deeper into the range and see if one of them takes your fancy. As someone who likes The Lord Of The Rings: The Card Game, it would be neat to see one that gave off the vibes of The Shire perhaps!
Take a look and tell me which gaming mat works for you!

Those playmats look really nice.
Ooh nice I’ve got a 4″ by 2″ one of the PC.
