Bushido’s First Wave 23 Minis Rise from the Earth

The first miniatures for Bushido's wave 23 releases have appeared, bringing us the sinister Kami of the Cult of Yurei and the stalwart spearmen of the Prefecture of Ryu.

Kami of Choking Fog and Blighted Earth

These two evil Kami, gods of the natural world, were among the first concepts we saw for this wave of Bushido releases.

When I first saw the concept art for these, I was a bit concerned about how the incorporeal appearance would be carried over to the miniatures. However, I think these models exceed my expectations and now I can more clearly see that the Kami of Choking Fog has what appears to be a face, while the one of Blighted Earth resembles a grasping hand.

Goshi

Unlike the two Kami, the Goshi is a bit more restrained in appearance.

The Goshi are called upon to bolster the ranks of the Prefecture of Ryu and lend them their knowledge of the local terrain. The model isn't as dramatic as a lot of the other Bushido miniatures, but then it isn't supposed to be and it still manages to be a well detailed sculpt with plenty of character.
