Burning Games See If You Have What It Takes For FAITH: A Garden In Hell
May 24, 2016 by brennon
Burning Games have hit Kickstarter with their campaign to fund both a RPG Set and a first story for you to explore. Do you think you're going to have what it takes to survive in FAITH: A Garden In Hell?
The bundle that you get when you back the Kickstarter gives you everything you need to get going. This includes a new version of the rules (V 1.5) and also a campaign book PLUS playing cards and all sorts of extra gubbins.
The main story that you'll be playing in this campaign is called Garden In Hell, hence the title of the Kickstarter, and sees you playing as members of the Iz'kal Coalition who are stranded on an alien planet and must survive AND hunt down the Ravager Queen.
Additionally you will also get some pre-generated characters so you can just get started in the game with no fuss.
The Races Of FAITH & Learning To Play
One of the things that spurred us on to have a look at this was the artwork and the interesting races for the game. You can see some of them below with their motivations.
It's hard not to get drawn into these kind of fully fleshed out Sci-Fi worlds and imagine playing as these different characters. I've given a taster of the artwork for the races below but you can see more HERE too.
I really like the hyper real nature of the characters we're seeing here. All of the mechanical additions to the characters make for some cool looking epic heroes.
If the artwork here as grabbed your attention then you can consider picking up the Core Rules for the game, for Free, via download on their Kickstarter page. This could give you a good understanding of how the game plays and more. You can also watch the How To Play video above.
Miniatures!
Additionally the team at Burning Hames have worked with the minds behind Fragged Empire to bring together a miniature from their world in miniature form for the game. Here we have the Skid...
I think the model is looking great and the worlds of FAITH and Fragged Empire share some common goals and interests in that they bring some exotic and wonderful looking Sci-Fi worlds to life.
We seriously suggest checking this one out if you're a Sci-Fi fan.
What do you think?
