Fenris Games has taken to Kickstarter and there's just over a week left for you to get your hands on their Rubble City.

Rubble City - Fenris Games

The range of 28mm kits in resin has been designed so that you could build up larger structures, or dot the remains of your city around the tabletop. There is a basic set as you'll see below which comes with all manner of bits and bobs for building ruined terrain.

As well as the basic set they have also been unlocking and revealing loads of additional pieces for you to consider. For one, you're going to need to find some way to build up the character of these places and that's where the likes of the Barrel Piles come in.

You also have some other bits which can be used to create fields and build up a more rural environment. I like this as it speaks to the Dark Age period a little more and opens up possibilities for building landscapes which have been reclaimed by nature.

You can also pick up some larger items as well to go along with the set including the Brightspear Tower. I like this as a focal piece for your games and it's certainly somewhere where you'd store an objective.

All of the rubble terrain we're seeing here could apply to a range of genres but I specifically think we're looking at Fantasy and Historical here. I think you'd have a lot of fun playing with terrain rules with this stuff too. You could have it all be scalable but introduce some threat to it with crumbling wall sections and more.

What do you think of the range on Kickstarter right now?
