Build A Stone Age Settlement With Steve Barber Models
February 26, 2015 by brennon
Steve Barber Models have put together a new collection of miniatures that would be great for use back in the long forgotten Stone Age. See what you think of the Prehistoric Settlement range...
Above are their range of hunters, foragers & gatherers, flint miners and even Chieftains with their staffs and big hunting spears. It might not be the prettiest range out there but I think they've got a nice selection of different characters that would make for a cool diorama scene. I think my favourite is the Chieftain with the Rhino Horn Spear (top right).
As well as the actual Stone Age people they've also put together some Prehistoric beasts for them to hunt and indeed be hunted by. The Mammoth is crying out to be part of the diorama I mentioned before while it would also be cool to see a scenario put together where a party of hunters are trying to escape from the clutches of that Smilodon.
What do you think of the range?

I am liking idea alone and those are rather nice. That baby mammoth does look rather cute.
Hmm I shall use that mammoth for pulp games! Beware nazis on dinosaurs here comes dock savage on a mammoth! Additionaly a intresting wargame setting.
Nice to see something different!
A Call of Cthulhu game set in the time of early man would be pretty cool.
those miniatures are excellent for playing at TUSK
