Build A Town In The Middle East With Renedra
September 17, 2020 by avernos
Those talented people at Renedra have been showing off some new buildings that can be used in your Middle East wargames. They've had a single story mud brick building for a while but with the upcoming three new kits you'll be able to add variations in height across your tables.
Mud Brick Buildings // Renedra
These are scaled for 28mm figures and hard plastic the buildings have a good level of detail with a texture on the walls and cracks showing exposed brickwork, even the end of wooden struts are showing on the front and rear. While simple in style on the outside there is detail on the interior of the kits each of the buildings will contain a frame that not only has the roof/internal floor and 2 main doors but also a sofa, pots, 2 trap doors and 2 ladders – the internal floors have also been detailed with a Persian style carpet as you can see on the photo below.

I think these look excellent and will get a lot of use across the board from historical gamers, maybe even some old school Ork fan who are looking for new digs for the Clan will check them out also. The three kits are;
Building 1 – 130mm high x 80mm square (3 frames)
Building 2 – 115mm high x 80mm square (3 frames)
Building 3 – 108mm high x 80mm square (3 frames)
The buildings also are useable with the existing mudbrick accessories sprue so you can mix things up even more, and there is talk that another additional sprue may be coming down the line once they've decided what to put on the frames. The quality of Renedra's terrain and ease of build is always fantastic and these Middle Eastern buildings look par for the course for them, it won't be long before villages are popping up around gaming tables.
What do you think of the carpeting?

Nice…. does it come with a lamp and a genie? And any words on prices?
Renedra do some great kits at good prices, well worth a visit to thier site.
Great looking buildings for middle East game’s or back water planet’s for sci-fi table’s
They look good. They already do one mudbrick building so that should you some guide on price plus they generally do discount for multi buys
I’ve eyed up the original kit for a long time. If there’s a bundle, say one of each kit, one or two accessory sprues I’ll get one.
Building 1 = £10,
Building 2 = £9 and
Building 3 = £8, we will also be selling a box containing 1 of each building (9 frames) for £22 (a saving of £5)
