Brother Vinni’s Astrid Joins The Ranks Of The Shieldmaidens

Vikings are still very much all the rage right now and so it's no surprise to see Brother Vinni producing another character for your warband. Here we have their Shieldmaiden Astrid.

She is very similar in look to the character of Astrid (Josefin Asplund) from Vikings, one of Lagertha's loyal Shieldmaidens and also her lover. With that in mind, I think you've worked out where she should be in your force, standing guard over her as one of the Hearthguard in your force!

The miniature is very cool and I like the stance as if she's just broken free of a shield wall perhaps. You could perhaps add some arrows into the shield to show that she's been on the defensive if you wanted to add more narrative to the scene.
