Brother Vinni has been showing off a few more kits for Regiment Jotunn, their Sci-Fi squad for use in the grimdark future of games like Warhammer 40,000. Leading the way, we have a Jotunn Sergeant who is rocking a powered fist.

I like the guts of this particular character, rushing forward with a fist in the air, charging towards the enemy that is most likely going to rip them apart. When you have faith in The Emperor then you can do anything right? These would be nice alongside all manner of other alternative Imperial Guard/Astra Militarum armies that are out there.

You can also now rock a series of special weapons thanks to some new additions to the range. For example, you've now got these Guns Of Helheim which would be good as snipers, hiding in the ruins of a blasted world.

I really like the Stalingrad/Enemy At The Gates vibe that I'm getting from these miniatures, obviously mixed with the Valhallan Ice Warriors aesthetic that you get from their attire. They seem like they would match up really well in terms of portions and such with the likes of Victoria Miniatures and Games Workshop of course.

When you need to melt something into a pile of slag you also have the Plasma Guns set which looks like it is heated up and ready to go.

The posing and such for these miniatures works really well too as if they are either in the midst of firing their weapons or rushing for cover so they can take down a large vehicle or monster which is stomping across the battlefield.

You could do a lot with the current Jotunn range by Brother Vinni, especially if you're bored of just playing around with Cadians on the battlefields of Warhammer 40,000.

What do you think?
