A New Britannian Ship Sails Around Dystopian Wars’ Africa
September 14, 2016 by dracs
A battle for Africa looks ready to kick off in Dystopian Wars and the Britannians are already sending out new ships to take the land for themselves.
This new ship was spotted by Prussian forces around the Gulf of Guinea. As yet, this classification doesn't have a name, but it does have the grand style of the Britannian fleet, kicked up even further with the addition of the filigree.
The model itself has a large hull and a modular design, allowing you to field it to deal with any ship type.
Above we see a Torpedo variant, Weaponry variant and a Bombard variant, with a Repair variant reportedly also in the works.
If you want to find out more about this upcoming African conflict, check out the latest of Spartan's Frontline Dispatches.
What do you think of the model itself? What variant would you choose?

Never played this but I always thought it looked cool. Might have to check it out. Wonder what the scale is.
The scale is 1:1200th @spaderfish
I don’t play Dystopian Wars but it looks a fascinating setting they’ve created (Antarctica as a playable faction – oh yes!). TBH I wasn’t sure if it was still being developed, so this is cheering news.
Those look really good.
This news is something of a relief for a lot of DW players who were wondering if Spartan were ever going to look away from their Halo game development! Steampunk Empires carving up Africa? There’s gotta be some techno-Zulus surely?? 😉
It’s funny that you mentioned that. As it so happens the reason I backed away from Spartan Games is because they got the licence for Halo. The reasoning was that Halo is such a big IP licence that they would demand most if not all of there attention, therefore making all of the other IP stagnant with no new rules, releases or attention from Spartan. Dystopian Legions is a good example of them dropping the ball of one of the games they came out with.
a unusual game look a mix of command & conquer and WW1 which would make for an interesting game.
