The Braying Of The Stormhorn Stagotaur Echoes From Megalith Games
March 16, 2017 by brennon
A monstrous beast is storming its way onto the tabletop soon from Megalith Games for Godslayer. The Banebrood get themselves another titanic warrior in the shape of the Stormhorn Stagotaur...
This monster looks like they've taken the concept of the Minotaur and tied it into that of the Stag instead of the Bull. It looks rather effective I have to say and has a distinctly Celtic feel to it as if it's been summoned forth by druids and dread shamans.
You can get a better look at the stance and the facial details here and I think they've pulled off a rather cool miniature. There has been a lot of work done on the antlers to make them feel natural and I like the texture to them which would be fun to pull out with some drybrushing and washes.
What do you think of the Stormhorn?

Wow!
I think he’s awesome. a great concept well executed.
That looks sweet.
deerhunter two?
Looks great. How popular is Godslayer?
not very unfortunately, great set of rules but I moved mine on a while back as I had no one to play with.
Could be used as a Wendigo as well.
Hopefully it will pick up with the upcoming Wave 2 KS (mentioned for May). It’s a get, tactical system with lots of flexibility. I think what caused it issues the first time around was the difficulty of getting hold of stuff (the price, around warmachine level, was not a great driver either).
The rules are good, and the background is deeper than most. Interesting ‘non-standard’ fantasy setting with a variety of factions/races (Beastmen, Celtic, Greek and Undead Roman to name but a few).
That looks pretty aces!
Always glad to find some new recruits for my Brayherd.
