Boba Fett Stakes A Claim With New Star Wars: Legion Miniature
November 4, 2022 by brennon
Atomic Mass Games has a couple of new sets available for you to snap up for use in Star Wars: Legion. The first of the sets is a character pack representing Boba Fett from The Mandalorian. Here, you get Boba Fett as the Daimyo, looking to stake a claim on Tatooine.
Boba Fett (Daimyo) // Star Wars: Legion
Shop Star Wars: Legion @ Store.OnTableTop
Based on The Mandalorian and The Book Of Boba Fett, this version of the character comes armed with his gaderffii stick so is going to be deadly in melee and from afar. He will be able to join Rebel forces as a mercenary, kicking ass and taking names.
Boba Fett (Daimyo) Unhelmeted // Star Wars: Legion
The set comes with both his signature helmet and an unhelmeted version if you'd prefer to see his scarred face. I like the pose for the miniature, in particular, getting ready to strike down at someone in a rage. It reminds me of the scene where he goes to town on those Stormtroopers in The Mandalorian.
New Star Wars: Legion Terrain
The second of the sets is for a Crashed X-Wing.
Crashed X-Wing // Star Wars: Legion
The set comes with a crashed X-Wing and the scattered rubble from its descent into the planet's surface. This offers up a unique scenario for the game with thematic terrain for the occasion. There is also a Rebel Pilot miniature in the set that you'll be aiming to rescue from the wreckage.
Crashed X-Wing Terrain & Miniature // Star Wars: Legion
Sounds rather cool and I like the idea of scenario-based terrain. But, this set does come with the price tag of $99.99 which equates to around £90. Still, it's nice to see that there are still more releases coming out for Star Wars: Legion that touch on the TV shows from Disney and pieces that are focused on scenario/narrative play.
Could you be tempted by these upcoming releases for Star Wars: Legion?

Well now. Hopefully this version of Boba is also an indicator that we will get Fennec Shand and Black Krrsantan for Legion sooner rather than later. For now though he goes on the buy list as part of my burgeoning collection of Mandalorians…
That new Boba Fett sculpt looks really good.
how come Bubbly Feets isn’t fat, like he was on the show?
Sculpted miniatures are the opposite of cameras when it comes to perceived weight clearly 😉
nice terrain piece but the cost and that you can get unofficial for a fraction shows AMG being out of touch. hate to say it but legipn looks ready for an IP shift change. hate to say it but would like to see GW take a crack at it. multi part figures and simplified rules would be interesibgvto seem
GW would be a terrible IP holder. 40K rules are a mess. I do not want “Star Wars” seasons so I have to buy a new rules book every quarter. Today you can get rules updates for free, GW would never do that. The prices of Legion would be higher than they are today. Most people do not need multi part miniatures.
I am okay with what AMG has done with Legion thus far.
Gw isn’t out of touch and would set reasonable prices? Apart from the fluff and some technical skills on their mini’s, gee dub has become a crux om the hobby. Their are way better rules and models to experience gw IP than actual Gw products.
To be fair AMG inherited a mess. I doubt the game is pulling in many new players, just in the decline where they bleed the whales dry.
How do you want to pull new players charging 90 credits for a piece of terrain??????
Annecodotally, I’d say the game is growing. I am seeing increased local interest and people willing to start buying in.
The sculpts and casting has improved since the early waves and many kits now come with build options. Anakin Skywalker almost has enough spare parts to build two of him!
Huge expensive terrain pieces are a distraction however, they are so expensive and not really needed that I would be surprised to actually see most of them on a table.
some fantastic looking figures an terrain.
Fett is on pre-order, terrain will stay the flock away from my wallet.
bubbly feets
When do we get Booba Fett?
Lol.
Cool looking Fett! I’ll get this one but, not the terrain!
#notmyboba
I’ll be snagging Fett.
I’ll have to think about the crashed X-Wing.
I really like the Boba mini, thought I don’t like to play games with original characters (I play with generic commanders, it is my role playing game influence’s fault). I’d like to have it just to paint it and showcase it. The terrain also looks fantastic, BUT… and it is a GIANT but… I simply can’t afford the price it is being said it is for THAT content. I can make an effort to purchase another thing worth 90€ or 90£ or whatever, but using that ammount of cash in just a piece of terrain, instead of just buying a… Read more »
