Bob Naismith Sneaks A Look At Some Finished Overrunners
January 7, 2019 by brennon
Bob Naismith has been showing off some of the Overrunners that were part of a Kickstarter campaign last year. It doesn't seem like it's going to be long before folks can get their hands on the miniatures and start using them in their Sci-Fi games.
The newest set of previews was for a selection of their vehicles that they added into the mix during the campaign. They look awesome, with plenty of options and extras for tinkering as you can see. I like that they've got one designed as a rolling gun turret and the other as one for medics evacuating the wounded.
There are a few more images over on his Facebook Page where you can see the progress on the range.
I think these are looking great for someone wanting to run a very generic Sci-Fi army. You could fit these into all manner of different games like Warpath and such. With so many different rule sets out there nowadays that don't have miniatures to supplement them, sets like this make for a perfect 'all-in-one' solution.
Those hovering bikes in the background are pretty swish too, aren't they!?
Did you back this campaign?

ah good old Bob, a stalwart of the industry for decades. They look lovely, I’m sure I’ll find a home for them
With all the freelance work he does I’m surprised he still has his own website/company. I wonder how old he is now
got to be close to his 60s I would imagine, GW did hoover a lot of people up straight out of university
I think he was sculpting long before he joined GW
5 years ish.
Brilliant dune buggies for scouting.
Those look really good.
These are so awesome, so glad I backed the KS!
The bike has a very laserburn look to it
I got the jetbikes from the KS – haven’t built them yet, but they are lovely models!
