Blacksmith Miniatures Head Into The Woods To Find A Satyr
March 5, 2015 by brennon
Blacksmith Miniatures make some really nice characterful figures that look like they've come right out of the pages of a Grimm Fairy Tale. Their latest is no exception so take a look at their scampering Satyr...
I do love this little guy who looks like you've just stumbled on his lair midst the trees and you've startled him into action. The sculpting is great and done by Valentin Zak. Overall the miniature comes in six pieces of resin and looks like it would be quite the joy to paint up. In terms of scale it looks like it comes in around the 54mm range so it's a big painting piece rather than a gaming one.
A charming miniature I think you'll agree!

He is usually so placid
Superb. I like the style of Blacksmith sculpts
I really like what Blacksmith are doing and this is no exception, just wish this was 28mm.
That is a fantastic model.
A shame it’s not a gaming piece. It looks fabulous.
Lovely characterful mini.
