BlackChapel Add Elves To Their Growing Fantasy World

BlackChapel Miniatures have created warbands full of Humans and Dwarfs and now they turn their skills towards creating a range of Elves too. On social media they showed off their Elf Warrior and Elf with Spear...

The way that they have designed their Elves is exactly how I like seeing them portrayed. While I know that a lot of Elves are lithe and graceful I like seeing decidedly more heavy set Elves who look like they could be graceful AND cut your head off with one swing of their swords.

In essence this is what they've done hear. He isn't so bulky that he looks absurd but you could see that he actually would have the muscle to lift that sword of his. He also would work as an Elf of the woods, cities, sea or elsewhere thanks to the open design.

You can see it here again in the design of the Spearman above. He looks like he could fight but without having to be so heavy set that he no longer appears to be an Elf. In the Warhammer world of old the Elves of Chrace were the 'vision' of Elfdom that I thought looked the best since they were hardier and more world-wise.

I can't wait to see what they do with the rest of this range!
