Black Site Bringing Don’t Look Back Core Box To Gamefound
January 7, 2025 by brennon
Black Site Studios will be coming to Gamefound soon with a campaign focused on producing a new Core Box for Don't Look Back, their fantastic horror-based cooperative miniatures game.
Don't Look Back // Black Site Studios
To start, this isn't a new edition of Don't Look Back and everything that currently exists in the range can be used alongside what you see here. This campaign is just focused on Black Site putting together a great "starter box" experience for people who want to dive into the game. It comes with all-new Item cards and Characters that don't overlap with the existing product line.
New Miniatures // Don't Look Back
If you're not aware of Don't Look Back, it's a tabletop miniatures game that brings the classic era of 1980s horror to the tabletop. You play either solo or cooperatively with up to four players as you seek to avoid the clutches of the Killer.
Each game you play will feature dynamic, randomly generated rules and characters all come with their strengths and weaknesses. The randomly generated Killer will also come with different traits so encounters will always be slightly different. You can then play out a series of pre-made scenarios or recreate your favourite horror films using these rules.
Inside the new Core Box, you'll find...
Core Box Contents // Don't Look Back
Northwood plays host to a brand new Killer in the form of The Beaumont Man but Natalie, Officer Bruhl, Ophelia and Griffin should hopefully be able to evade his clutches! I'm sure that more will pop up as part of the Gamefound campaign for those seeking even more Don't Look Back goodies.
This has been designed to be a simple, easy entry point into Don't Look Back and Black Site Studios mentioned they are trying hard to make it UK/EU-friendly for backers across The Pond. There is no guarantee that they'll be able to do this but this could be a good way to get Don't Look Back if you've had trouble sourcing it in the past.
