Black Scorpion’s Wild West Tombstone Kickstarter Launches
April 6, 2017 by brennon
Black Scorpion has now launched their Kickstarter for their Wild West skirmish game, Tombstone. Whether you fancy being Bandits, Natives, Gunslingers or maybe even the Undead there appears to be a place for you on the frontier.
The game sees you playing as gangs out in the Wild West fighting for fame, infamy, fortune and maybe just to survive. They are building on some of the mechanics that might be familiar to those who played Cutlass! where stats are decided by a dice value giving games that 'push your luck' feel where you might just be able to pull off that killer shot.
The game has you playing with between six to eight models aside, so it feels close and dangerous! There is a campaign system at the heart of the game too where you can improve your gangs and tell out a story of villainy or heroics on the frontier.
The Miniatures
You will have seen some of the miniatures already if you've been following along here on Beasts Of War but they span all manner of different factions including the likes of the Undead...
...as well as Outlaws and Female Gunslingers that can be mixed with any gang.
The full range can be seen over on their Kickstarter page including Lawmen, Outlaws, Natives, 7th Cavalry, Mexicans and the aforementioned Undead.
Does this sound like a game you'll be getting into?

very pretty and funded already 🙂
I’m glad that their female figures aren’t as stripperiffic as their initial picture suggested.
The Mexican and undead gangs are probably the only ones with a single suitable female variant in that set though.
Now if only there were a gameplay video of the rules somewhere …
There goes my tax return.
At least you had a tax return to look forward to … 😉
