Black Scorpion Miniatures Updates Status On Tombstone
April 19, 2016 by deltagamegirl22
Black Scorpion Miniatures will be releasing a skirmish game, Tombstone, which will be kind of the cowboy version of Cutlass. The game will feature over 100 new miniatures in seven different factions including: lawmen, outlaws, mexicans, Indians, 7th cavalry, undead/zombie and female gunslingers.
There will also be some new mounted miniatures and new horses. Their plan is to launch a Kickstarter late 2016 with both a printed version and PDF version of the rules - also available in French and Spanish.
The miniatures and book will be complete upon launch, and the miniatures will be hand sculpted and will be cast using the same high quality method we've seen with their other products.
Will you be taking to the west in the Tombstone Kickstarter?

I bought some resin western type minis from Black Scorpion at Salute a couple of years ago. Interesting sculpts and superb castings. Hardly mold lines on them at all. Looking forward to seeing what new stuff they bring out.
Always make sure to visit Black Scorpion at any events I go to. Superb sculpts.
nice looking figures.
Picked up their latest batch of pirates from their stand at Salute at the weekend. Stunningly good for single-piece sculpts.
Missed them at Salute this year else I have all of their exclusives – and most of the Cutlass pirates
At least she’s wearing cowboy boots this time. The last “sexy gunslingers” I saw (I think they were WWX?) had some kind of sci-fi, steampunk boots.
That’s probably because WWX is a sci-fi western game. 🙂
We are in the chainmail bikini part of female sculpture here – but he does it so well.
Very nice.
Pretty much my entire Old West collection are Black Scorpion- they are all extremely characterful, individual sculpts, no unnecessary details and in believable poses (no backflipping / forward-rolling ‘action’ poses; which just aren’t my cup of tea) and an utter joy to paint, so I’m definitely looking forward to more- especially those 7th Cavalry (at last!)…
I’ve got a bunch of their pirate stuff already which I use as a pirate mercenary army in God of Battles. Between their western minis and 4Ground’s western range, I need very little excuse beyond a very good game to put them on the table. Haven’t found one I like yet, though.
Bought some minis at Salute realy liked them can’t wait for the game to come out
